News: Accelar shortlisted for Consultancy of the Year at the UK Green Business Awards

Accelar has been shortlisted for Consultancy of the Year at the UK Green Business Awards, one of the UK’s longest‑running and most respected awards programmes for sustainability and green innovation. Established by BusinessGreen in 2010, the awards celebrate organisations and individuals leading the transition to a more sustainable, resilient and low‑carbon economy, spanning business, finance, infrastructure and nature-based solutions.

The Consultancy of the Year category recognises firms providing outstanding strategic advice and delivery at a time of rapid change — supporting organisations to respond to climate risks, accelerate decarbonisation and embed sustainability within core business models. Being shortlisted reflects the collective effort of Accelar’s team, collaborative partners and clients who are operating at the leading edge of what we describe as the triple transition: nature recovery, climate resilience and decarbonisation.

We are also particularly encouraged to see strong recognition for nature and green finance across this year’s shortlist, with projects and organisations focused on biodiversity recovery, natural capital investment and ecosystem resilience featuring prominently across multiple categories. This signals a wider shift in the green economy, where nature-based solutions and blended finance are becoming central rather than peripheral to climate action.

The winners will be announced at the UK Green Business Awards ceremony in June, held during London Climate Action Week. We look forward to celebrating with peers across the sector and wish all shortlisted organisations the very best of luck.
