Spotlight on Decarbonisation at the RICS Construction and Project Management Conference 2021

On Tuesday 28 September Accelar’s managing director Chris Fry will be speaking at the global Construction and Project Management Conference 2021, hosted by RICS. The conference will take place over four days, comprising of 15 global and regional sessions with first-hand practical insights delivered by world-leading speakers. These will cover a range of key topics in the built environment industry such as Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) and industrialisation, procuring for value and optimising environmental sustainability and achieving net zero.

Currently leading Accelar’s work on carbon and environmental benchmarking for transport infrastructure projects in the TIES Living Lab, Chris is also technical author for the incorporation of carbon into the international cost management standard ICMS 3. Chris joins an international panel to discuss the challenge of rapid decarbonisation in the new era for the construction sector.
